There are so many amazing skincare and beauty products out there but you only have one face and not everything will work for it. When you’re trying out something new, here’s how long to give it a chance before you decide if it works for you or not.

Cleansing Products

You can typically see if your new cleanser is good after a day or two. Some of them will remove makeup and dirt better than others, some will dry out your skin, and some will be just perfect. You will easily know when you’ve found the one.

Chemical Peels

You’ll need to give your new chemical peel 4-6 weeks if you want to make an informed decision about it. You can typically see some results in the first few weeks, but such products require patience and time.

Vitamin C

It’s not easy to know if your skincare with vitamin C works or not, mostly because it needs six months to a full year to make any visible difference. If you combine it with active ingredients that hydrate and cleanse your skin, you can see some effects sooner.
