Grimes is collaborating with Stella McCartney for her Adidas fall/winter 2019 collection.
The singer-songwriter will be the new face of the Adidas x Stellar McCartney campaign. McCartney has been committed to protecting the environment for decades and her dedication to sustainability plays a crucial part in her ongoing collaboration with Adidas.
The new AW19 collection uses recycled materials like Parley Ocean Plastic and innovative techniques to ensure that performance does not suffer.
“Our focus for this collection was to incorporate fabrics that help us get one step closer to our future goal of high-performing, sustainable performance wear,” the designer explained.
Speaking about Grimes and her involvement with the project, McCartney said: “She is passionate and outspoken about protecting the planet, and a true trailblazer for pushing creative boundaries and inspiring women to unlock their potential in all aspects of their lives.”
The adidas x Stella McCartney will be available from July 15.
