Dirty brushes

When was the last time you washed your hairbrush? Most women don’t do this, but it’s essential to clean your brush out of all the dead skin and dirt it accumulates over time. For the best effect, clean it once a week.

Washing hair with hot water

Hot water is as bad as everyday washing. It will dry out your hair by destroying the natural oils it produces. The optimum water temperature should be neither hot nor too cold, but lukewarm.

Too many products will probably do your hair more harm than good, but that doesn’t mean that you’re done after shampooing it. A conditioner is a must if you want your hair to be moisturized and nourished.

Always pick the products for your own hair type, but be aware of the changes that happen. For example, if you have started dying your hair recently, it’s time to switch to the products for dyed hair.
