Monstera is Delicious

Monstera fruit is not only edible but probably one of the most delicious fruit you’ll ever taste. Those who have tried it say that it tastes like strawberry, banana, mango, and pineapple all in one.

What’s the catch? You need to wait for it to get perfectly ripe because if you try to eat unripe fruit it can feel very unpleasant. It takes around 10 months for the fruit to get completely ripe but it’s worth the wait.

Where Can it Grow?

Depending on where you live, it can be difficult or virtually impossible to grow your own monstera fruit. The plant is native to southern Mexico and that’s where it lives its best life, but getting it to produce fruit in the northern US or Europe may be a challenging task.

Healing Properties

In Mexico, monstera fruit is used to relieve arthritis and to heal snake bites. How amazing is that?

Even if you can’t make your monstera plant to give you fruit, it can still be a beautiful decoration for your home. It’s one of the most popular houseplants and it makes every space nicer.
