Flip Your Head Upside Down

Flipping your head upside down to blow dry is one of the oldest tricks in the book. It requires no technique and creates instant volume. You can’t go wrong with it.

Blow dry On Top of The Brush

Rather than blow drying your hair underneath the brush, lift your hair up away from your head at an angle. Blowdry the hair on top of the brush to create more lift from the root. This works best with a rounded brush.

Use Your Fingers

Using your fingers instead of a brush can actually encourage volume at the roots. You don’t need to do this through all your hair, but it will prevent your hair from drying flat on the top of your head.

Use A Slower Speed

Attacking your hair with maximum speed can cause it to dry too quickly and lie limply on your head. Keep the heat high but lower the speed. This is particularly effective when combined with one of the other techniques on this list.

Use Volumising Mouse

If you have fine hair, you are probably familiar with volumisng mouse by now. Mouse goes hand in hand with the upside-down technique and creates the illusion of lustrous, bouncy hair.
