The premiere of Barbie is just around the corner, and its stars recently gathered for the film’s premiere in LA. This event introduced us to many amazing red carpet-trends, and here are five that stole the show.
Method Dressing
Margot Robbie took method dressing to new heights while promoting Barbie and her shimmering Schiaparelli gown perfectly recreated the “Solo in the Spotlight” Barbie look from the ’60s.
Colorful Menswear
Many men attending the Barbie premiere opted for amazing pink ensembles, starting with Ken himself – Ryan Gosling. Scott Evans, Jeremy Scott, and Michael Cera also wore pink, while Simu Liu opted for a baby blue ensemble.
Barbiecore
Barbie is often associated with the color pink, so it wasn’t a shocker to see the sea of pink outfits on the red carpet, from the likes of Karol G, Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, and the film’s director Greta Gerwig.
