We might invest regularly in our manicures and pedicures, but we typically don’t give too much thought to the art of nail care aside from what color we’re in the mood for by the time we walk into the salon.
There are a number of fearless and experimental women (and some men!), however, who truly see nails as an art form, allowing clients to express themselves creatively via the tips of their fingers and toes.
We’re lucky that the past decade or so has seen great progress in terms of the shelf life of manicures, thanks to innovations in gel polish and the like. Some people, however, will still get fancy designs on their nails with regular polish even if it doesn’t last more than a week or two.
