As the year is slowly coming to an end and we’re trying to enjoy this fall to the fullest, it would be a good idea to use these last sunny days to deep-clean our homes. Fall is the perfect season to do all those boring household chores and prepare to enjoy the upcoming holiday season. Here a few cleaning tasks to tackle.

Windows

Washing the windows and window treatments is probably the most daunting household chore, but these sunny fall days are the perfect time to finish this task. Carefully wash your curtains and dust curtain rods before you wash the windows and let the sunshine in.

Cupboards

Cupboards and kitchen cabinets can accumulate dust pretty fast, so make sure to scrub every corner of your kitchen. Also get rid of all unnecessary things such as cracked glassware, expired products, or old dishcloths and sponges.

Disinfect Trash Cans

Sure, we all take out the trash on a daily basis, but when is the last time you properly cleaned your trash can? These things are a breeding ground for bacteria so make time to clean and disinfect them this fall.

Clean the Oven

Another item on the daunting household chores list is cleaning the oven. We know it’s hard and messy, but fall and winter are perfect for baking all sorts of delicious treats and you won’t be able to enjoy it if your oven is dirty.
