We all look forward to those long summer days in the sun, but you should keep in mind that the sun can wreak havoc on your skin. Your summer skin routine doesn’t have to be super complicated in order to be effective. These three simple tips will help your skin stay healthy.
Moisturize
Moisturizing twice a day is necessary to help repair your skin and keep it hydrated. If you don’t moisturize daily, your skin will become dry and will lose its flexibility. Use an SPF moisturizer to keep the UV rays away.
Cleansing
Wash your face with a gentle cleanser twice a day: in the morning and at night. Make this a part of your daily beauty routine no matter how tired you are. If your skin feels tight or dry after you wash your face, consider using a gentler cleanser.
Exfoliate
We exfoliate to remove dead skin cells from our face, but these cells also play an important role in protecting our skin. If you’re constantly scrubbing your skin, this can lead to sensitivity, redness, and can even increase acne. Exfoliate once or twice a week.
