This year’s Tony Awards were one star-studded extravaganza, and the red carpet delivered many jaw-dropping looks and dramatic red carpet trends. Join us as we take a look back at Broadway’s biggest night, and the best fashion trends to emerge at this ceremony.

Radiating Sunshine

Many stars attending this year’s Tony Awards radiated sunshine by wearing stunning dresses in different shades of orange and yellow. Jessica Chastain’s Gucci gown was definitely the most notable look in the sunshine shades, but Uzo Aduba, Crystal Lucas-Perry, and LaChanze also deserve some credit for putting this trend on the map.

Back to Black

The Tony Awards are all about drama and class, so they’re definitely the best occasion to hit the red carpet in a stunning black ballgown. That’s exactly what several stars decided to do this year, starting with Kara Young, Jodie Comer, Stephanie Hsu, and Dylan Mulvaney.

Flower Power

Spring is almost over, but if you think that floral print is going away—think again! Floral gowns will be going stronger than ever this summer, and several stars couldn’t resist wearing them at the Tonys, starting with Lea Michele, Julianne Hough, and Lorna Courtney.
