3 Comedy Films You Should Check Out This Summer

Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti in "Palm Springs"

This summer will be pretty slow for the movie industry as most theaters won’t work in full capacity once they re-open, but there’s still a lot of amazing films you can watch at home. If you’re in a mood for a good comedy, here’s a few coming to VOD this summer.

The King of Staten Island

Judd Apatow’s latest film was a long time coming, and it was worth the wait. The King of Staten Island follows an aspiring tattoo artist who’s trying to figure out what to do with his life, and Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson based the script on his own experiences.

Palm Springs

Palm Springs was one of the biggest hits of this year’s Sundance Film Festival, and it’s coming to Hulu on July 10th. It follows the adventure of two outcast guests (Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti) at a destination wedding in Plam Springs.

My Spy

This hilarious action-comedy premiered in several countries before theaters shut down, and US viewers will have a chance to see it on Amazon Prime from June 26th. It’s a hilarious family movie about a CIA agent (Dave Bautista) who finds himself at the mercy of a 9-year-old girl while surveilling her family.
