Zendaya is one of our biggest fashion muses, but that doesn’t necessarily make her perfect. She’s capable of making beauty mistakes like the rest of us, and her biggest regret dates all the way back to seventh grade.
The Spider-Man actress recently dished about her approach to fashion in an interview with InStyle, and admitted she threw a temper tantrum shortly before her 13th birthday because her eyebrows didn’t look the way she liked them.
“I remember the day before seventh grade started, I was going to get my brows done. I left the place with one eyebrow more square and one more round. They looked super thin, and my heart was broken. I cried, which is so dramatic, but it was the day before seventh grade,” recalled Zendaya.
Fortunately, she doesn’t have to deal with this anymore since she’s always working with professionals – but she also likes doing her own makeup from time to time. Zendaya enjoys her beauty experiments because they’re all about freedom of expression, and she’s owning up to each and every one of them.
