The “shacket” is majorly trending on Instagram and across Google searches. But what is it and what makes it so great?
The shacket is the latest of many fashion hybrids. You have heard of jeggings (jeans x leggings), you’ve heard of the snood (scarf x hood) and now you have the shacket i.e. an epic combo of a shirt and a jacket.
The shacket is essentially an oversized, boxy shirt that offers extra warmth in the fall without committing to a full-on coat. It’s low-effort, versatile, and gives you a relaxed yet stylish option for chilly days.
We love it because it provides the warmth of a jacket, without throwing off your outfit. In fact, it’s pretty easy to make a shacket a part of your outfit and it can be worn indoors if the student bar is known for being a little on the chilly side.
