Foods With Garlic or Onions
Anything that’s heavy with garlic and onion, whether that’s homemade tomato sauce or black beans and rice, should probably be avoided. Those scents are really strong and can give the people around you a little bit of a hard time, especially on longer flights.
Salty Foods
Even though most flights will give you pretzels, avoid them as well as chips and anything else that’s super salty. The salt will further dehydrate you, and that combined with the cabin air and altitude will make you feel super bloated.
