Victoria Beckham is in the center of attention right now, thanks to the recent launch of her new beauty line called Victoria Beckham Beauty. The former Spice Girl took this opportunity to talk more about her perception of beauty.
In a recent interview for British Glamour, Beckham revealed that her beauty line has helped her with her own self-confidence.
“There’s something really liberating about embracing who I am at 45 years old and owning it, feeling confident, feeling content” said Beckham. “I want to spread the word that everybody should feel like the best version of themselves. To look after what you have. I want to tell people to own who you are. Yes, we – and I – have wrinkles, and that’s OK!”
The mom of three later added that she hates seeing the words anti-aging and anti-wrinkle on products and that we should all strive to have the best skin we can have. This is why she decided to show her wrinkles in her brand’s campaign photos and to retouch the photos as less as possible.
We couldn’t agree more with her and we’re glad she’s trying to empower women around the world.
