Most people are rescheduling their travel plans right now so it’s understandable if you got bored of spending your days in the same apartment looking through the same windows. Did you know that there’s a website that collects window views from people around the world that you can use for a quick change of scenery? It’s called Window Swap and if gives you a chance to escape for a few minutes (or hours) and look through someone else’s window for a change.

Window Swap asks its users to submit 10-minute long videos that include the window frames and the view through the window. Some people also include sound to improve the ambiance effect. As a visitor, you can click the button to get a random window view from nearly any point in the world.

The site was founded by Sonali Ranjit and Vaishnav Balasubramaniam who needed a quarantine project to help with lockdown blues. “Let’s face it, it’s going to be a while before we travel again and wake up to a new view outside our windows,” Ranjit told Campaign Asia-Pacific. “So until then, why not voyeuristically travel by looking out of somebody else’s window for a while?”
