Things You Should Never Put in Your Kitchen Cabinets

Some items are too bulky and awkward to store in your kitchen cabinets. They take up space that could otherwise be utilized more wisely.

Serving trays

These aren’t items that are used frequently, so they needn’t be stored in your kitchen cabinets. Rather keep them in a clear plastic tub in another cupboard.

Table Linens

Tablecloths, linen napkins, and fancy placemats aren’t used daily, so they shouldn’t be stored in the kitchen. Keep them in the same cupboard you use to store bed linens and towels.

  Seldom used appliances

Consider selling or donating appliances you don’t use. Store the appliances that you seldom use out of the kitchen, for example, in the basement.

Frequently used appliances

Rather than storing these appliances (such as a toaster) in your cabinet, give them a permanent space on your countertop.

Opened food items

It is better to keep all food items in your pantry or in a dedicated cabinet. Try storing consumables such as coffee, tea, sugar, cereals, etc. that are used daily in your kitchen cabinet. But put them in clear containers first so that they’re easy to identify.
