When it comes to stainless steel pots and pans, it can be really difficult to maintain their looks, especially if you use them often. But, it’s possible and there are actually many ways that are pretty hands-off! So keep your pots and pans looking brand spanking new with these natural and DIY solutions!

For day-to-day cleaning, the best way to keep your stainless steel pots and pans clean and free of stuck-on messes is actually really simple. All you have to do is fill the pan or pot with water and some dish soap, bring it to a boil, and then simmer it for 10-20 minutes. If the food is really stuck on, do it for longer. This will release the food and make cleaning it a breeze!

For more serious grime and stains, baking soda is all you need. Just mix it together with some gentle dish soap until it forms a paste. Spread the paste all over the affected areas of your pans, leave it on for a few hours, and then scrub off. If it doesn’t work the first time, make the paste again and leave on for longer and that should do it for you.
