Inoue spent many years looking for a tool he could use to express himself, only to find out it was there all along. He started using flower petals, stems, and leaves to create colorful animal sculptures, and never looked back.
Raku Inoue creates his complex artworks by arranging a wide array of floral elements onto a plain white paper. Insects are his favorite subjects, and they perfectly align with his vision thanks to their vibrant shades and delicate form.
