The Best Way to Apply Eye Cream

If the eyes are the window to your soul, you want to make sure they look their best regardless of your age. Over time it is a matter of maintaining the health and thickness of the eyelid skin. Applying eye cream ensures that the skin will not lose elasticity, and its smooth appearance later in life, as we age.

This is why applying eye cream is a must in any beauty routine, and done at least every night if not twice a day, for some of us. Here’s the best way to do it right.

Eye creams are especially concentrated, so a pea-sized amount is all you need for both eyes. Use your ring finger as it naturally has the lightest touch. You do not want to put too much pressure on the skin.

Start tapping from the inner corner under your eye, until you reach the brow bone3meaning the end of the brow. Be careful not to pull or stretch the skin while applying the cream.

After applying your eye cream, wait about 90 seconds before applying concealer or other skincare products to give it time to fully absorb.
