“Harry Potter-obsessed makeup fans rejoice! With our Harry Potter Color Collection, we aim for all beauty enthusiasts to celebrate and be enchanted by the Wizarding World, where they can embrace their favorite Hogwarts Houses and iconic potions,” reads the brand’s press release.
Instead of dropping a huge eyeshadow palette with countless different shades like most brands these days, SheGlam opted for a different approach. They released four smaller eyeshadow palettes, allowing you to pick the one that fits your house: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, or Hufflepuff.
The collection also includes a lip gloss set, inspired by some of the most beloved potions from Harry Potter, including Polyjuice Potion, Amortentia, Felix Felicis, and Draught of Living Death. Magic Cauldron lip mask and Gifted Herbologist glitter lipstick are also up for grabs, and they can be bought separately or as a part of a bundle, which retails for $49.99 on SheGlam’s official website.

The 24-pan eyeshadow palette is its most exciting product, but the line also features a highlighter palette, blue body paint, makeup setting spray, and lipstick and lip-glosses in several different shades.
Denée Pearson, NYX’s senior vice president of global marketing, said this partnership is very special because they worked closely with filmmakers to bring the world of Avatar to life through makeup with an incredible level of detail.
“Everything from this collection is inspired by the [setting] of Avatar, Pandora, and characters… The palettes are inspired by the colors of Pandora’s land and sea, from the vibrant forest greens to the deep turquoise blues and shimmering bioluminescence of the water,” Pearson told Rolling Stone.
The launch of this collection is accompanied by a social media campaign raising funds for Nature Conservancy’s efforts to protect the oceans. From November 30 to February 28, 2023, Nyx pledged to donate up to $50,000 to this non-profit, for posts using the hashtags #NYXCosmeticsForAvatar, #KeepOurOceansAmazing, and #AvatarTheWayOfWater.
