Tap into your inner caveman (or woman) by using a flat stone to pry open the can. Create friction by running the stone along the edge of the lid in an attempt to make a hole. This method also works with an abrasive surface like rough concrete, but it does require a fair amount of patience.
You know that sensation of anger bubbling in your body and feeling like you might burst? This method uses the same principle. Place the can in the flames of a fire or in a pot of boiling water. The heat will cause the liquid inside to expand and create pressure, eventually forcing the lid to pop open.

Besides keeping your hands dry when you wash dishes, rubber gloves are perfect for shucking corn and getting off all the silk! Instead of spending forever trying to get it out of your teeth, just throw on some rubber gloves and they’ll be none left.
While this next one isn’t directly related to cooking, it’s in reference to hosting parties. Instead of cramming your fridge with drinks and sodas for guests, put ice into your washing machine and store your drinks in there! When the party is done, just run the machine and it’ll all drain out.

A whisk is essential for things like pancake batter, making fluffy eggs, but not everyone owns one. The best way to get by without a whisk is to take two forks and tie them together with a rubber band! You can also attach a protein bottle mixer to a fork and use that as a whisk as well.
Whenever you’re using citrus in large quantities like for pies, salad dressings, or marinades, you don’t want to do it by hand. If you don’t have a citrus reamer handy, all you need are some tongs! Just cut the citrus you’re using in half and use the tongs to squeeze out all the juice in a snap.
