]]>On a piece of toast of your choice, spread beetroot hummus, slice up some avocados, and sprinkle feta, pickled onions, and toasted seeds. You’ve got yourself a very healthy meal.
If you have a sweet tooth, this one is for you. Spread a light layer of butter on the toast, add some cream cheese, baked apples, cinnamon, and a generous drizzle of honey and you have a delicious dessert toast.
Cook this toast, by cutting a hole in a slice of bread and placing it over melted shredded cheese in a nonstick skillet. Once it gets crispy, flip it and add the egg to the hole and some ham. When it’s done, flavor it with salt and pepper and some chopped greens.

Watermelon should have a “field spot” that’s creamy and yellow. This is the place that didn’t go green as the fruit sat on the ground while ripening. Don’t buy those with white or light yellow field spots.
The round melons are sweeter than the oval ones. Choose a round watermelon and check the other signs we pointed out to make sure you’ve got a winner.
Disregard the weird looks and knock on a few watermelons to pick the best one. You want to hear a deep, hollow sound that indicates the fruit is perfectly ripe.

There’s been a study in 2017 that showed the link between eating blueberries and improved mood two hours later. We’re also sure that the act of eating this delicious fruit only increases the feeling of happiness!
A big study with over 90,000 participants showed that there’s a link between eating blueberries and lowering the risk of a heart attack. Keep your heart healthy by consuming them whenever you get a chance.

Drinking soda is basically drinking water with sugar and is packed with calories, even diet soda. Smoothies and fruit juice are healthier but are also high in calories. Cutting these drinks out of your diet and drinking more water is way more beneficial. Try to drink 8 glasses per day, and if you don’t love the taste of plain water add some lemon or cucumbers.
Fiber will keep you full and will also help you lose weight, so add more to your plate. Swap the white bread for whole grain and the white rice for brown rice. Always choose the whole grain alternative when cooking food and you will see how much better you feel.

]]>If you like grapefruits but aren’t a fan of the bitterness, pomelos are your fruit. They are the largest citrus fruit and they can easily be used in any recipe that calls for grapefruits. Try switching out lemons with pomelos to make amazing pomelo bars, a new take on lemon bars.
This isn’t one of those fruits you eat raw. When it’s cooked it tastes like a mix between an apple and a pear. These are amazing when baked – think stuffed baked apples.
This fruit that’s high in antioxidants and fiber adds the perfect crunch and sweetness to any salad. They also don’t go bad quickly, so you can store them in your fridge for a couple of months or enjoy them as a juice for breakfast.
Not to be confused with an unripe tomato, these aren’t as sweet as other fruits and we prefer ones that are slightly harder. They work so well in salads and they won’t fall apart when they are mixed with greens.
