• Rolling pin or drinking glass

Instructions

• Once you have everything you need, making the earrings is actually quite simple.
• Just roll out your clay into a flat sheet and use a knife or a circle cutting tool like a cookie cutter or a bottle lid to cut your desired shapes from the clay.
• Once you’re happy with your design, use a needle or paper clip to poke a small hole where you want your earring back to go.
• Bake the clay following the instructions on the packaging.
• Use a jump ring and pliers to attach the earring back to the earring.
• And that’s all! Of course, you can get as fancy as you want with the designs, mixing colors, creating marbling or dotting effects, and so on.

Instructions

1. First, clean your hoops, especially if they are old, with rubbing alcohol
2. Choose the color of string you would like the hoops to be
3. Start wrapping the hoops in the string until they are covered completely
4. Tie a knot, cut off the tail, and you’re ready to wear!

Alternatively, instead of just wrapping the string, you can make what’s called a Chinese staircase by simply making knots throughout the hoop. Tie the piece of string to the hoop, pull the string out to make it look like a circle on the side, then put the string through the hole and pull. Continue doing that throughout the whole hoop and you’ll have an even more unique design!
