]]>One area in the house that sometimes does not get the attention it deserves, is the dining area. Many of us grab a quick snack over the counter or in front of the TV and don’t always get to eat a meal while sitting at the dining room table.
But here are some ways in which you can easily enhance the dining experience at home and make an amazing and pleasant dining area.
First of all, clear the clutter that has accumulated in the dining area. Bills, children’s toys, and your laptop should be put back in place for a distraction-free eating experience.
Make sure you are physically comfortable sitting at the table. Eating comfortably is very important, and contributes to the eating experience at all hours of the day.
Atmosphere
Try to create a pleasant atmosphere at the table, by using small design items. For example, pick fresh flowers from the garden and place them on the dining table, or use a beautiful tablecloth. The small details will make you enjoy sitting in this corner of your home.

Glass jars can become candles or table decorations, fruit boxes can be painted and mounted on the wall as cubby holes for your kids’ room. There are endless ways to use what you have and make it functional again.
Here are 5 easy ways to recycle things you have around the house to give your home a new look.
If you have an old wooden nightstand or dresser that is on its last legs, don’t throw it out, repair it and give it a new coat of paint. It will totally change the look and make it more desirable again. You can put it in the hallway for people to throw their keys on it, or keep it in the bedroom and change the handles to make it more modern.
If you are decorating your dining room but don’t want to buy a new table and chairs you can transform them by re-staining the wood or reupholstering the fabric. This will give the whole room a new look and will be cheaper in the long run.
You probably have lots of used glass bottles and jars in your kitchen from finished food and drink. Don’t throw them away, clean them out and use them as vases, candle holders or fill them with pretty pebbles and put them on your coffee table for some decoration.

]]>For this natural dish soap, you need 1/4 cup liquid castile soap, 1/2 teaspoon non-GMO glycerin, 1 1/2 cups boiling water, 15-40 drops essential oil, 1/4 cup grated Dr. Bronner’s soap, 2 1/4 teaspoon super washing soda. For the essential oil you can use any type, but the best ones are lavender, lemon, and orange.
Begin by putting the pot with water on medium heat. Include the grated bar soap as well. Mix it until it’s all liquid. You can now put it on the side and store it in a container. The best idea is to use a bottle with a pump dispenser. Add the 2 1/4 teaspoons of super washing soda, glycerin, and the liquid castile soap.
Leave the bottle to rest for 24 hours. You need to mix it several times during those 24 hours. If you prefer to have a thicker dish soap you can add more washing soda. All you need to do is to heat up the mixture again and pour 3/4 teaspoon washing soda. Once it’s done, you should add the essential oils too.
