Fitness watches are a great way to track your activity level while staying in great shape. Apple Watches are one of the premier fitness watches and pretty soon, those with Apple Watches will be able to do so much more with them!

Apple just announced that they’re releasing an on-demand fitness program for Apple Watches.

The program, called Fitness+, allows you to pair your Apple Watch with an iPhone, Apple TV, or iPad to play workout videos. When you’re exercising you’ll be able to track how hard you’re pushing yourself, your heart rate, and the calories you burn on any Apple device.

In addition to these features, you can also display a “Burn Bar” which will show you how your effort compares to others who have done the workout.

The workouts you can choose from include cycling, treadmill, rowing, HITT, strength, yoga dance, core, and mindful cooldown videos. New workouts will be added weekly and the app will give you recommendations for new workouts that are similar to the ones you’ve already completed.

Apple is bringing in trainers to lead the workouts and to pick the music that accompanies the workouts. The trainers they’ve booked so far include Sherica Holmon, Kym Perfetto, and Betina Gozo.

Fitness+ will be released by the end of 2020 and anyone with an Apple Watch 3 or later can subscribe to the service for $10 per month or $80 for a year.
