We all know that applying sunscreen is a must in order to protect your skin from damage, aging, and skin illnesses during the hot summer days. Yet there are a few common spots that we all tend to miss when applying sunscreen, but shouldn’t.

Ears

Even people with long hair shouldn’t forget to apply sunscreen on top and behind the ears, because this is the only way to protect this area from UV rays.

Lips

Just like the rest of your skin, the lips can easily get sunburned and most people forget to protect them during summer. Luckily there are many lip balms with SPF that are great for protection and super moisturizing.

Eyelids

Just because you’re wearing hats and sunglasses doesn’t mean you shouldn’t apply sunscreen to your eyelids. The skin around your eyes is very sensitive so don’t forget to apply sunscreen to this spot.

Scalp

Even though hair provides some protection, our scalp can get sunburned just like the rest of our body. That’s why it’s important to wear a hat during summer or use sunscreen powders to protect your skin.
