These five crafts are great to do with your kids and you can use the finished products as home decor pieces.
Sun Printing
Head to the beach or the woods and collect pinecones, leaves, seashells, and feathers, so you can create sun printing artwork. Make sure it’s a sunny day and put all of your collections on a light-sensitive paper and wait for the light to pick up on the silhouettes.
Tie-Dying
Use vegetables, plants, and fruit to tie-dye your clothes and sheets or you can buy a tie-dye kit from the store. Tie-dye is super trendy right now and we don’t expect it to go out of style anytime soon.

Gardening is a great way to reconnect with nature and this Japanese gardening technique wraps plants in moss instead of placing them in pots.
Glass Art
If you love the colors of the ocean, head to the beach and collect sea glass for your next art project. There are tons of things you can create with it including jewelry, stepping stones for the garden, trays, or sculptures.
Rock Art
Gather all of the rocks, stones, and pebbles from your garden and create cute saying or pictures on them with paint. When you finish, hide them on trails so other people can see your beautiful work.
