Sola Look was founded by good friends David and Yvette, who was a licensed cosmetologist and former Sephora employee before deciding to start her own makeup brand. They always wanted to do something unique and fun, and eventually came up with the idea to create pop-culture-themed makeup collections.
The sky was the limit once they decided to turn their favorite movies and TV shows into makeup, and they usually draw inspiration from cult classics from the ‘80s and ‘90s. Flashdance, Dirty Dancing, Grease, and Beverly Hills, 90210 are only some of the projects they chose to honor so far.
Many of our favorite makeup brands are dropping pop-culture-themed collections every once in a while, but Sola is doing it all the time.
