Speaking with Glamour, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has revealed the most valuable beauty advice she learned from her mother.
Rosie is an ambassador for Hourglass and is renowned for her flawless beauty regime. The model always shows off stunning makeup and is upfront about how long it takes her to get ready (it’s 45 minutes, FYI).
In an interview with Glamour, Rosie was asked about the best piece of beauty advice she received from her mom. Her answer was perfect.
“Makeup is about enhancing what you have, not hiding what you have,” she revealed. “When I was young, I remember thinking, What does that mean? And as I’ve gotten older, it’s sort of meant different things to me. And now, in my thirties, I think it means the way you apply your makeup. Instead of masking something you don’t like, enhance the things you do like.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Rosie revealed what her makeup essentials would be if she was stranded on a desert island. She confessed: “A concealer, tinted brow gel, and a lipstick because I could wear a lip and a cheek with it. I love the new Hourglass lipstick. The formula is so pigmented it literally takes one or two swipes and you’ve got this really impactful lip.”
