Rust stains can happen when mineral deposits from hard water come into contact with other materials frequently.

The frustrating part is that these types of stains are very hard to remove. Fortunately, there are different ways you can get rid of these stains. Here are some of those ways for you to try:

Use a pumice scouring stick

This works very well for eliminating rust stains from porcelain surfaces. Just make the bar wet then rub in on the stain in back and forth movements.

After some time, a pumice paste will develop which will help clean and polish the surface. Then all you have to do is rinse the surface clean.

Use the ZUD cleanser

This powerful cleanser made by Reckitt Benckiser. Although not very friendly to the environment, it’s extremely effective and easy to use. Just sprinkle or squirt the product on the stains and brush using a plastic pad or a toilet brush. Then let the product set for about 1 1/2 hours and rinse.

Use a chemical cleaner

One excellent chemical cleaner called The Works will help you get rid of the rust stains. Just spray the product on, allow it to set, then rinse.
