Relive Your Childhood Vacations In These Destinations

Some of our fondest childhood memories were going on vacations with our families. So, why not create these same trips with your significant other or children? Whether it’s riding roller coasters, strolling the beaches, or exploring the great outdoors, these are the places you should revisit now that you’re older.

Martha’s Vineyard

Martha’s Vineyard, located in Massachusetts, is the perfect place for sailing and fishing. It’s secluded and luxurious because you can only reach it by boat or plane. If you’re looking to get some relaxation and rest, this is the place to visit.

Niagra Falls

Niagra Falls is great for honeymooners, families, and tourists. Fall in love with it all over again by trekking the Cave of the Winds on Goat Island, setting aboard the Maid of the Mist, or hiking Whirlpool State Park.

Coney Island

Coney Island, located in Brooklyn, New York, is your one-stop entertainment destination—take in the street performers, the Circus Slideshow, and the Mermaid Parade, which are all held in June. If you visit in July, check out the Nathan’s Famous hot dog eating contest held on July 4th. Of course, you can’t miss Luna Park, which is home to the Cyclone roller coaster and the Wonder Wheel.

The Grand Canyon

If you plan on going to Arizona, stopping at the Grand Canyon is a must. It’s open to the public year-round and you can hike or camp with your family or as part of a group. It probably won’t seem as big now that you’re an adult, but the 277-mile river long and up to 18 miles wide and deep sight is one to take in.
