Another Venice Film Festival is behind us, and it brought elegant red carpet premieres back in the spotlight. It also defined fashion trends for the upcoming fall/winter season by giving us several emerging trends.

Back to Black

If we had to pick a single color that ruled Venice Film Festival, it would be black. From simple, long dresses, to classy suit combos, this color was present at every film premiere.

Paisley Print

Dresses with Paisley and floral print were also a huge hit in Venice, mostly because several celebrities opted for chiffon Etro dresses that put this trend on the map.

V Neck Dresses

Several celebrities attending this year’s festival hit the red carpet in daring, yet classy dresses with deep V neckline, including Cate Blanchett, Isabel May, and Sofia Resing.

Mask On

Masks were a must at this year’s festival from day one, but they usually came off for the pictures. Photographers still caught many shots showing our favorite celebrities with face coverings, ranging from classic surgical masks to elegant models that perfectly fit their outfits.
