There are so many reasons to be excited about spring, especially the newly bloomed selection of produce that is available. Eating seasonally ensures that the flavors of your ingredients are at their best, so try some of these recipes as we prance into spring!

Grilled Asparagus

Asparagus is such a versatile and delicious vegetable; you can do as little or as much as you like to eat and it will always taste good. Something fun to try is grilled asparagus with just a touch of lemon. Once they’ve been grilled, you can add them to pasta, salads, or even sandwiches.

Radish Salad

Radishes are crisp, peppery root vegetables that have roots in many different cultures. An easy way to prepare them is by simply tossing them with cucumber, lime juice, and mint. Don’t forget to salt them but don’t add too much ground pepper or it will be overwhelming.

Apricot

Apricots are small divine stone fruits native to the Medeterian. These fruits can be used in both sweet and savory applications! Grill them and add them to arugula, which is also in season, goat cheese, and walnuts and you have a colorful and healthy salad. Or, turn them into a quick jam with some sugar and lemon juice.
