The 47-year-old revealed that he underwent a six-hour procedure to remove a tumor from his bile duct, located between the pancreas and liver. “I am a cancer survivor,” Moss said, according to Fox News. “Some trying times, but we made it through.”

During a Monday Night Football game against the Chicago Bears, the Minnesota Vikings paid tribute to their former star. “In honor of Randy Moss and all those fighting cancer, let’s Moss cancer,” the in-stadium announcer said, according to CBS News. Legends Cris Carter and Jake Reed, who played alongside Moss, carried his No. 84 jersey to midfield for the coin toss.
