Barbie, the iconic doll that marked childhoods of generations of girls, is celebrating her 60th birthday this year. To honor this special occasion, PÜR Cosmetics announced they will be launching a brand new makeup collection inspired by Barbie.
Based on the promo photos we’ve seen, all of the products from PÜR’s new makeup range look adorable. They all come in cute glittery packaging and you can probably already guess that they’re all – pink! The Barbie collection will include an eye shadow palette with 12 different shades, a makeup brush, a highlighter palette, eyelashes, and a set of semi-matte lipsticks.
“Barbie naturally sparks that inner girly-girl within each of us, so we wanted superglam shades that were combined with wearable colors to maximize the use of this collection”, Pür’s VP of marketing and innovation Tina Thompson told *Popsugar*.
“We allowed Mattel’s mantra of ‘limitless potential’ to inspire us throughout the entire development phase for a finished product that fits into any lifestyle, whether you’re an entrepreneur, teacher, doctor, artist, student, etc,” Thompson said.
PÜR x Barbie Collection is coming our way on Aug. 2 on the PÜR website and Aug. 4 at Ulta stores.
