Objects Nomades: Louis Vuitton Furniture

Created in 2012, Objects Nomades collection keeps Lous Vuitton’s long tradition of beautifully made “travel” pieces alive.

The term ‘travel pieces’ doesn’t mean they are meant to be taken with you on your travels. The idea behind the project actually goes like this: some of the most famous designers around the world gathered to design furniture inspired by travel and faraway destinations, and Louis Vuitton is responsible for creating them. Unique pieces, limited editions, and experimental prototypes represent an homage to the fashion house and the unbelievable ideas artists and designer around the globe have.

LV is always trying to support artists, helping them bring creative solutions and visions to life. In the past, LV has collaborated with creatives like Marcel Wanders, Atelier Oï, Maarten Baas, Barber and Osgerby, the Campana Brothers, Damien Langlois-Meurinne, Nendo, Gwenaël Nicolas, Raw Edges, Patricia Urquiola, India Mahdavi and Tokujin Yoshioka.
