The Philippines-based artist uses nothing but ordinary black pens to create his doodles of wild animals in motion – and they’re all he needs. His “Geometric Beasts” have become so popular that they have transformed into posters, postcards and temporary tattoos.

Rosanes created this collection as a way of depicting his own interpretation of one’s struggle to break away from societal norms. He hoped his drawings will encourage people to unleash the beast within themselves and inspire them to be who they truly are.

“Geometric Beasts” are one of Rosanes’ most eye-catching collections, but he’s worked on numerous equally impressive projects over time. After years of exploring many different subjects, animals are still his absolute favorites and he enjoys drawing them much more than people.
