Do you miss heading to your local coffee shop first thing in the morning? Just because it’s closed due to coronavirus, it doesn’t mean you have to stay at home all day feeling run-down and groggy. It’s time to invest in an espresso machine and learn about latte art. Here’s how to make your very own coffee station at home.
Designate a Space
Start by choosing a space for your DIY coffee station. This can be a kitchen counter, a special cabinet, or a bar cart. Once you’ve come up with a space, get all of your coffee supplies, accessories, and gadgets including coffee makers, creamers, K-cup pods, sweeteners, and cute mugs.
Invest in a Mini Fridge
Mini fridges will let you have all your coffee supplies in one spot and they can form the centerpiece of your coffee station. Get all your favorite milk, creamers, syrups, and whipped creams, and place them in the fridge.
Pick Up a Spice Rack
If you like lattes, pick up a spice rack for your cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and allspice.
Get Accessories
Once you have your materials, you can start making the place special by getting glass mason jars to store the sugar, stirrers, and K-Cups. You can also have a hanging wall display to store all your coffee mugs and succulents or coffee-themed canvases to decorate the place.
