Spray tanning is a good idea if you want to add a bit of glow to your skin. But before you book your next tanning session, make sure to read a few tips we’ve prepared, to ensure the best spray tan results. These tips will allow you to take better care of your skin and will help make your tan last longer.
Before your tanning session, try to moisturize the areas that are very dry, such as your elbows or feet. Using moisturizer after tanning is important as well, as it will give your skin even coverage and prevent the color from fading too quickly.
Baths and Showers
After the session, avoid having long baths if you want your tan to last longer. Also, try using a light shower cream or gel as well.
It’s best to exfoliate on the day before your tanning appointment or a few hours before. Exfoliate with a scrub or cleanser to remove the dead skin cells and leave your skin free of any lotion, moisturizers or oils until the treatment.
Make sure to remove the hair from your body 24 hours before tanning and even longer if you’re waxing. Hair removal opens up the pores and allows the tan to apply evenly.
