Kitchen Items You Need to Throw Away

Our kitchen is supposed to bring us joy, it should inspire us to be creative and cook delicious meals. If that’s not the case and you feel anxious as soon as you step into the kitchen, it’s time to make some changes. First, make sure to declutter and finally throw away these things.

Cracked Glassware

We all have at least a few cracked mugs lying around in the kitchen that we simply can’t throw away for good. Drinking from cracked or scratched mugs and glasses could potentially be dangerous, so try to repurpose them in order to clear out your kitchen cabinets.

Old Spices

Every person who enjoys cooking has a vast collection of spices from all over the world in the kitchen. Even though they do not have an actual expiration date, spices do lose their flavor and can spoil after around one to three years. That’s why it’s important to go through your spice collection every once in a while and toss the ones you can’t use anymore.

Rubber Spatulas

A rubber spatula is probably one of your favorite kitchen tools if you love preparing delicious cakes and treats. However, keep in mind that rubber spatulas have an expiry date and should be replaced every two years.
