Jenna Ortega’s fashion choices have always been on point, but she took things to new heights while promoting Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Many of her red carpet looks were a spooky homage to Tim Burton’s cult horror comedy, and we’re bringing you five of the very best.
Mexico City Press
Ortega kicked off the press tour with several whimsical looks in Mexico City, including this stitched-together archival Vivienne Westwood gown that looks straight out of one of Tim Burton’s movies.
New York Press
The Wednesday star went down the “method dressing” route while promoting this film in New York. She fully embraced gothic glamour with several tailored looks, including this one inspired by Beetlejuice’s iconic striped suit from the original movie.
Venice Press Call
Ortega also paid homage to Beetlejuice’s wedding-day look by wearing a custom burgundy power suit by Paul Smith.
Venice Premiere
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice had its long-awaited world premiere at the Venice Film Festival, and Ortega pulled all the stops when she hit the red carpet. Her sheer red Dior gown with a heart-shaped top and pleated bottom was a clear homage to Lydia Deetz’s wedding dress from the original movie.
London Premiere
Ortega’s teal and black Harris Reed dress in London was a subtle nod to Delia Deetz’s quirky sculptures, but her house-shaped purse by Ozias ended up stealing the show.
