At 50-year-old, J. Lo doesn’t appear to be slowing down anytime. Fresh off an amazing Super Bowl halftime show and starring in Hustlers, J.Lo announced that she is teaming up with DSW to create a new fashion line with shoes and handbags.
The footwear collection will drop first on March 9 and the handbags will follow. DSW has been giving sneak peeks of the collection and so far, the styles include strappy stilettos, gold platform pumps, and slingback heels. ET reports that the collection will also include boots and sneakers and that here will also be five limited-edition styles to celebrate the launch.
In a press statement Lopez said, “Since the beginning of my career, I’ve wanted to do it all – music, movies, and fashion… This collection represents three cities that have become such an important part of who I am: New York, Los Angeles, and Miami… With this collection, it’s my hope that people can find and represent multiple sides of themselves, all while remaining true to their most authentic self.”
This collaboration with DSW isn’t Lopez’s first dabble in the fashion industry, she had two clothing and accessory lines in the early 2000s.
