How to be healthier at work

Working can be bad for your health. What with sitting down nearly all day, and the regular access to unhealthy foods, if you work in an office, you might be damaging your health.

The great news is that we’ve got a couple of easy tips for you to get healthier while working in an office.

Drink water

It’s very easy to become dehydrated at the office. We often become so absorbed by a project that we forget to drink. If you don’t drink sufficient water, you stand the chance of being tired and hungry later on in the day.

Make a commitment to drink water throughout the day. Make sure your water bottle is full, and eat water-rich foods like salads and leafy greens. You’ll feel much better for it.

Always eat breakfast

Even if you don’t consider yourself a ‘breakfast person’, believe us when we say that eating breakfast every day is one of the best things you can do for your health.

If you eat a balanced meal at the beginning of the day, you won’t be tempted to snack on unhealthy foods during the morning. The secret to having the time to eat breakfast is meal-prepping.
