H+M Celebrates 10 Years of Sustainable Fashion

H&M is celebrating a decade of commitment to sustainability.

The high street fashion retailers have been champions of sustainable fashion since 2009. They launched their “Conscious Exclusive” collection and since then, they have been dropping a new “Conscious” collection every year.

This year, H&M will be launching their tenth collection and with it, they will celebrate a decade of commitment to sustainable fashion. The AW19 collection will feature statement pieces which are tailored to some of the trends we saw in the catwalk for Fashion Week.

The collection is made from recycled brass, waste cotton, and recycled zinc. Conscious Exclusive proves that fashion can be both stylish and eco-conscious.

H&M designer Ella Soccorsi said in a statement: “The starting points for the AW19 Conscious Exclusive collection were mysterious masquerade balls that took place in the 1960s. We were thinking about dazzling, one-off events where the anticipation in the build-up only increases the pleasure.”

The AW19 collection will launch on September 26.
