After several major delays caused by COVID-19, highly-anticipated superhero movies are finally coming to theaters this summer. If you happen to be a huge fan of this genre, here are three epic blockbusters you should see on the big screen with your friends and family.

Black Widow (July 9)

Passionate Marvel aficionados spent a decade waiting for a stand-alone Black Widow movie, and they’re finally getting what they’ve been asking for. Scarlett Johansson will return to her most iconic role in this movie that takes place after Captain America: Civil War, and shows her confronting the past she left behind before joining Avengers.

The Suicide Squad (August 6)

Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn was entrusted to breathe a new life into the Suicide Squad sequel, and we can’t wait to see what he came up with. Margot Robbie, Idris Elba, John Cena, Joel Kinnaman, and Sylvester Stallone play the members of the vigilante team as they try to destroy a shady, Nazi-era prison and laboratory.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings (September 3)

If you want to end your summer on a high note, make sure to add Marvel’s first movie with an Asian lead to your watch list. Shang-Chi follows the titular martial artist who must confront his past after being drawn into the Ten Rings organization that he tried to leave for a normal life.
