Fit
First, start with the fit and you won’t find that overnight or online. It takes time to come up with jeans that are the right rise and inseam combination. You have to try them on in stores and you’ll probably go through a bunch before you find a style that feels right.
Fabric
Jeans aren’t meant to feel uncomfortable. Cotton is a great choice but also look for TENCEL™ fibers, which will make your jeans fill soft and smooth on your skin. If you like a stretchier jean go for ones that have up to fifteen percent spandex and polyester and if you prefer a more standard jean opt for ones that have two percent Lycra.
Style
When you choose a pair of jeans, make sure it’s a style that’s not just a trend right now. It’s best to get jeans that are a medium to dark wash with finished hems. Yes, we get that holes and fading look super cool, but they don’t go with every look and they don’t work throughout the seasons.
