How many times has it happened to you: you finish painting your nails only to realize you don’t have enough time to let them dry completely? Even if you have the time, you surely don’t want to just sit there for half an hour doing nothing! Here are three tricks that will help you have dry nails that won’t get ruined as soon as you do something with your hands.

Avoid Thick Layers

It’s important to apply as little polish as you can at a time. 2-3 thin layers look so much better than 1 thick layer, and they dry much faster.

Quick Dry Spray

On your next trip to the drugstore, grab a bottle of quick dry spray – you’ll be amazed how much time it can save you.

Hair Dryer

Hair dryer is a great tool to help you dry nail polish faster. Be careful not to get it to close to your nails and always use the cooling option.

Ice Bath

Prepare an ice bath before applying nail polish – put some ice cubes in a bowl and add cold water. Then soak your fingers for a minute or so and your nails should be dry and good to go.
