Over the past few years, weddings have become a lot less traditional and they’re more about doing what makes the bride and groom happy. We couldn’t be more thrilled because we’re getting tired of attending those cookie-cutter weddings where everything looks copy-paste.
Here are the biggest trends for 2020.
Wedding Dresses
Ball-gowns will never go out of style, but dresses are becoming bolder with more unique details. Mini dresses and pants are replacing tradition gowns. In 2020 expect to see floral prints, ruffles, puffy sleeves, one-shoulder details, and plenty of sparkle.
In addition to dresses, Hailey Bieber’s statement veil which read “Till Death Do Us Part” will influence brides to put more imagination into theirs.
Wedding Rings
It’s becoming more popular to choose your own engagement ring and wedding band. This is important because hopefully you’ll be wearing it forever and you shouldn’t be stuck wearing something you don’t love.
In regards to the style of the ring, cushion-cut, yellow-gold, and Art Deco are predicted to become popular.
Hair
Gone are the days of elaborate updos that take hours and tons of hairspray to complete. More natural, lighter hairstyles will be seen on brides in 2020.
Wedding Cake
There are some traditions that don’t seem to be leaving anytime soon and one of them is wedding cakes. The wedding cakes in 2020 will look more like artwork than cake, making them totally Instagram ready.
