When going trick or treating, two of our favorite candies to get are Snickers and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. And even if you’re following a diet, it’s totally okay to enjoy chocolate every so often, especially when it’s a holiday. But you should know that not all chocolate is equal when it comes to being nutritious. So when it comes to these Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and Snickers, which is healthier?

Snickers

With slogans like “You’re not you when you’re hungry,” and “Snickers handles your hunger,” it’s safe to say that Snickers are a good choice when you’re hungry. The rich chocolate, creamy nougat, chewy caramel, and crunchy peanuts make for a delicious snack. While Snickers have fat and protein from the peanuts, the protein content and fiber is pretty minimal and there’s a lot of added sugar in the bars.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

Peanut butter and chocolate are a combination made in heaven and due to peanut butter in Reese’s, they have healthy fats, protein, and fiber. Compared to Snickers, the two peanut butter cups have fewer carbs, calories, and sugar and more protein and fiber.
